Players that logged into an Everleaf Gaming skin today were forced to agree to a new set of terms and conditions before seeing the cashier or player admin area. There were several new terms that players were unhappy about, the most notable new term was:

18. No person who is resident in Malta, France and USA may open an account, play, or in any other way participate in the ELG offerings and/or services.
While Everleaf Gaming did not accept players from Malta, the addition of France and USA into that terms is new and was added just today. This change of terms was brought on by an investigation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This investigation led to the seizure of one of Everleaf Gaming’s U.S. facing payment processors. The funds held by the payment processor were also seized.

The voice of Minted Poker known as Neil stated that the Everleaf Gaming Network was hit with a cease and desist demand from U.S. authorities. After a discussion with the Lottery and Gaming Authority, the organization that licenses Everleaf Gaming in Malta, it was agreed that Everleaf Gaming would leave the U.S. market. It is not known at this time how U.S. players will be paid, how long the process will take, or when U.S. players will be banned from the network. As of now, U.S. players are continuing to play for real money at Everleaf Gaming Network tables.

Minted Poker assured all players outside the U.S. that it was business as usual and that player funds were ring fenced. It was also noted that once U.S. players were removed from the network, the entire network would convert to Euros as their only currency.

Everleaf Gaming is expected to make an announcement in the next 12-24 hours that should give players more details about cashouts and when U.S. play will be suspended on the network. We will continue to monitor the situation and will post updates as they become available.

Other U.S. Poker Rooms Licensed by LGA

Everleaf Gaming is leaving the U.S. in part due to the suggestion of the LGA, who licenses and stores the servers for Everleaf Gaming. Merge Gaming also holds a license issued by the LGA. Merge Gaming is a different scenario than Everleaf Gaming though because Merge Gaming’s servers are located on the Kahnawake reservation in Canada which is the home of their primary licensor. While this may be an interesting next few days, there is no reason to believe that there is any immediate concern about Merge Gaming.

Laurent Tapie finishing Full Tilt Poker Deal?Yesterday 20:00 by Olsdog / dailypkr.com

Groupe Bernard Tapie has reportedly finished the Full Tilt Poker deal, and Laurent Tapie has moved to Dublin, Ireland to oversee the site himself.

Initially, people were quite worried that the deal wouldn't get done because there were so many delays and setbacks in the takeover. However, the only hurdle now appears to be clearing everything up with the US Department of Justice.

According to an anonymous source who spoke with PocketFives, the FTP deal is pretty much done as they said, "They are finalizing the deal with U.S. Department of Justice, but it's a done deal. Tapie is getting ready to reopen Full Tilt Poker in Europe. The deal should be signed next week."

As for exactly when the Full Tilt Poker relaunch will take place, nobody is sure when this is going to happen. Some industry insiders think it could be a week, while others say longer. But in any case, it's nice to hear some rumors that the Full Tilt Poker deal is pretty much completed.

HERE IS THE LINK, I WILL POST MORE WHEN I FIND EM.

Daniel Tzvetkoff Witness in Black Friday Trial2012-03-22 04:03 by Olsdog / dailypkr.com

IntaBill founder Daniel Tzvetkoff has popped up in the poker news again since he'll be the star witness in an upcoming Black Friday trial involving fellow payment processor John Campos and banker Chad Elie.

The trial will take place on April 9th, and Tzvetkoff is very valuable to the US Department of Justice's case since he sent over 90,000 emails back and forth with Campos and Elie.

In exchange for his cooperation in the Campos-Elie trial, Tzvetkoff avoided a possible 75-year prison sentence for his role in breaking United States' laws to service online poker sites.

Many people within the online poker industry see the Australian as a sell-out who ripped several poker rooms off by keeping millions of dollars that he handled for them.

As for John Campos and Chad Elie, these two are accused of money laundering and bank fraud, and they could both be facing over 30 years in prison.
