The launch was announced by the Rational Group, which operates PokerStars and was
awarded a license earlier this year by the Bulgaria State Gambling Commission.

PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker site, has now restarted its activities in the
country after being licensed few months ago by the State Gambling Commission. This is
the first license for a major international online poker operator issued in Bulgaria
