Four-time World Champion boxer Carl "The Cobra" Froch took some time away from the ring earlier this week to take part in the World Poker Tour's WPT500 tournament presented at the Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham. The £500 buy-in event drew well over 2,000 players as a prize pool close to $2M USD would be distributed to those who would end up cashing in the event. Eleanor Gudger (GPI No. 2659) would end up winning the event, taking home $222,176 for her efforts.
Sadly for Froch, he would end up missing on the money. Although he did suffer an early elimination, Froch was still nice enough to stop by for an interview with the World Poker Tour crew:
