A gambler made a race-hate remark to a security officer at a casino when he was asked to leave.
Mohammed Sadiq had previously asked to be barred from Blackpool’s Coral Island Casino because he had a gambling problem a court was told.
Sadiq, an unemployed father-of-three, 42, of Janice Drive, Fulwood, Preston, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated threatening behaviour.He was sentenced to a two-month curfew from 9pm to 7am and ordered to pay £85 costs plus £60 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Sadiq racially abused a casino security officer who ejected him on October 30. He had a previous conviction for racially aggravated behaviour.
