Jessica is making her first trip to states and also will compete in the shot put. Her mark of 34 feet, 2 1/2 inches at the WPIAL championships earned her the 24th seed among Class AA girls

In the last week she had managed to not only break the school record once but she kept doing it for a total of five times. This was an 8 year record that she crushed by 2 feet 6 inches.
